here’s a couple of images from a typography workshop we had on monday. my brief was to create a typeface using the font futura as a starting point whilst trying to use a particular formal shape somehow and referencing a cultural figure.
my formal shape was a rectangle and my cultural figure was mies van der rohe. the pictures aren’t the greatest and the style is far from complete, but not bad for a couple of hours work.
