the view from one of our balconies…

one of my classes in barcelona is a portfolio class where we have to design business cards, a book, a cv and a gift to leave/send out, as well as a website. due to the style of my work, i have started to base my project around photomontage and ransom notes etc.
i’m making a flick book for my gift [this is the gif made from the images]. i have used my surname [finch] to portray a story… the hatching of a finch, then the murdering of it just after hatching into the world… kind of a play on graduating from the nest, only to be shot down. so i want it to work like a threat - employ me or the bird gets it, basically!
still needs a fair bit of work, but not a bad start… the idea is there anyway.

i have never written truer words.
my parents came to visit this weekend and it was amazing. great company, unbelievable weather, food and drink galore AND a visit to camp nou to watch barca win 1-0 against zaragoza. life is good.

i got addicted again and now i’m in desperate need of season 8. come on HBO, hurry along now.
